Hugging Face is the hub for open-source models, datasets, and Spaces, with tokens used for Hub access and Inference APIs.
A user access token from Settings → Tokens authenticates downloads, private repos, and many inference endpoints.

How to Get an API Key
- Log in at huggingface.co and open https://huggingface.co/settings/tokens.
- Create a fine-grained or classic token with the minimum scopes you need.
- Copy the token once shown and store it as HF_TOKEN or an equivalent secret.
- Use it with the Hub client or Inference API as described at https://huggingface.co/docs.
